We often receive email and calls asking about our
hotel. To make it easier and to give you immediate
answers and save you some time, we compiled a list
of the most frequently asked questions and their answers.
We hope this will be helpful. If you have a question
and you can’t find your answer here, please
don’t hesitate to email or call us. We’ll
be very happy to assist you.

Is breakfast included in the room rate?
YES,
breakfast is included in the price. Our breakfast
is open from 7:00am – 10:00am. We also have
complimentary coffee and tea available in the lobby
throughout the day.
2. Do you have any non-smoking rooms?
YES.
ALL our rooms are non-smoking as well as the common
areas. If you would like to smoke feel free to do
so outside or on the roof-top deck (seasonal, weather
permitting).

What are the rooms like?
Most
of our rooms are small but very clean and well-appointed.
Our Economy and Standard rooms have one double bed
or one queen bed and our Superior rooms have a queen-sized
bed. One of our Standard rooms has two twin beds
and three of our Superior rooms also have an additional
single bed (a day sofa that opens up for a third
person). A few of our Superior rooms also have a
fireplace. Please look at our Amenities page to
see what is included in the rooms.

How big is your hotel?
Our hotel is situated in a quaint and historical
brownstone on a quiet tree-lined street and only
has 22 rooms and suites. It was built in the 1850’s
and doesn’t have an elevator. The most you’ll
have to walk to your room is 3 flights up from the
lobby. Our property has a very comfortable and homey
atmosphere and many of our repeat customers feel
like they’re staying with friends or family.

Is the front desk open 24 hours a day or is it closed
at night?
YES. Our front desk is open 24 hours a day and there
is always someone there to help you. Our hotel is
secure and our front desk person buzzes in our guests
24 hours a day.
6.
Do all the rooms have a private bath?
All our Superior rooms and Suites have a private
bath. The Economy and Standard rooms have a sink
in the room with hot and cold water and they share
a full bathroom that is always right outside the
room in the hallway. Each floor has a full hallway
bathroom and some floors even have a full hallway
bathroom and a separate additional toilet. Two to
three rooms share a hallway bathroom. We often receive
comments from guests that the bathroom was always
available and always very clean whenever they used
it.

Do you have a restaurant?
NO. There are dozens of restaurants right around
the corner from our hotel ranging from fast food
to gourmet fine dining and everything in between.

How early can we check in?
Check-in time is 3:00pm. However, if you arrive
earlier and the room is available and cleaned, we
will be glad to let you in earlier. If your room
is not ready early, you are welcome to leave your
luggage with the front desk and go and enjoy the
city. Check-out time is 12:00pm and of course you’re
welcome to leave your luggage with the front desk
until your departure time.
9.
Do you accept personal checks?
NO. We only accept Visa, Mastercard, cash in U.S.
Dollars and travelers’ checks.
10. Do you have Internet connection in the
hotel?
YES. If you bring your own laptop you can use the
wireless Internet in your room, in the lobby and
on the roof-top patio. If you don’t have your
own computer you can use our computer and printer
in the lower level foyer. Both connections are at
a small fee.
11. Do you clean the rooms every day?
YES. Our housekeeping staff cleans each room every
day, 7 days a week.
12. How often are the hallway bathrooms cleaned?
The hallway bathrooms are cleaned several times
throughout the day.
13.
Is the hotel centrally located?
YES. Our hotel is located in the heart of the well-known
Chelsea neighborhood. It is in walking distance
to many tourist attractions as well as the Javits
Convention Center and Greenwich Village. Please

to everything.
14.
Do you offer special deals or discounts?
YES. Throughout the year we have several discounted
packages that are offered. The best offers are always
during the months of January, February, and March.
